Power Steering Pressure Control Valve: Service and Repair
PS Solenoid Actuator, Discharge Fitting Replace
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the power steering pump (1) from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
2. Remove the retaining clip from the actuator.
3. Remove the power steering actuator and fitting (2).
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the power steering fitting and actuator (2) to the pump (1).

Tighten the PS solenoid actuator to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the retaining clip to the actuator.
3. Install the power steering pump (1) to the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement.
