Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil level indicator from the oil level indicator tube.
2. Remove the bolt securing the transmission fluid level indicator tube bracket to the transmission.
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
4. Remove the oil level indicator tube from the transmission. Pull the tube upward from the transmission. Remove the seal.
Installation Procedure
1. Install a new oil level indicator tube seal into the transmission case.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube into the seal.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the bolt securing the oil level indicator tube bracket to the transmission.

Tighten the bolt to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Install the oil level indicator.
6. Check the fluid level.
