Rear Door: Service and Repair
Window Handle
Tool Required: J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Window regulator handle (25).
A. Insert J 9886-01 between the handle (25) and the bearing plate.
B. Align the tool J 9886-01 parallel with the door handle, and, push to disengage the spring clip (24).
C. Pull the handle (25) from the door.
2. Bearing plate.
Install or Connect
1. Bearing plate.
2. Place the window in the raised position.
3. Put the spring clip (24) onto the handle (25).
4. insert the handle (25) onto the door so the handle is pointing towards the front of the door.
A. Push on the handle (25) until the spring clip (24) engages the window regulator shaft.
