Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
On G models, remove engine cover.
3.
On all models, remove heat stove pipe and dipstick tube from right side manifold.
4.
On fuel injected engines, disconnect oxygen sensor wire from left side manifold.
5.
On all engines, disconnect AIR hose from check valve.
6.
Remove spark plugs, then disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold.
7.
Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts and spark plug heat shields.
8.
Remove exhaust manifold.
9.
Reverse procedure to install, using a new gasket.
