Fuel Gauge Sender: Description and Operation
The fuel gage sender is attached to the top of the fuel tank. The sender is retained with a cam lock ring. A seal is used between the tank and the sender.
The sender will have two or three places to attach hoses. One line is for the fuel feed line. The second line is connected to the vapor canister. The third
line is used as a fuel return line to the fuel tank. On some senders a short connector lead is used, while on other senders the connector attaches directly to
the sender.
