1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove transmission oil pan and filter.
3.
Disconnect electrical connectors.
4.
Remove bolts securing the solenoid assembly, then solenoid with O-ring.
5.
Disconnect case electrical connector.
6.
Remove accumulator cover bolts, then 1-2 accumulator cover and pin assembly, Fig 4.
7.
Remove spring, bolt and manual detent spring assembly, then disconnect electrical wire clips.
8.
Support control valve body assembly, then remove remaining valve body bolts and manual valve link.
9.
Remove control valve assembly, bolts, auxiliary valve body and checkball.
10.
Remove spacer plate, gaskets.
11.
Remove checkballs, spring, piston, seal and pin.
12.
Reverse procedure to install. Prior to installation ensure checkballs are in their proper location, Fig. 5.
