10. Crankshaft sprocket (if required). Use J 5825A 

TOOL REQUIRED:

J 5590 Crankshaft Sprocket Installer

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Crankshaft sprocket (if removed). Use J 5590. Make sure the timing mark faces outside. 
2. Camshaft sprocket and timing chain.

 IMPORTANT:

Align the timing marks on the camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket.

3. Camshaft sprocket bolts.

TIGHTEN

^

Bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).

4. Front cover.

TIGHTEN

^

Bolts to 12Nm (106 lbs. in.).

5. Torsional damper. Refer to Engine / Cylinder Block Assembly / Harmonic Balancer / Specifications /See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic

Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley/Specifications

6. Coolant pump. Refer to Cooling System / Water Pump /See: Water Pump/Service and Repair 

7. Fan, shroud.
