SPECIAL POLICY ADJUSTMENT - MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST PIPE SEALS LEAKING
MODELS:
1985 S/T MODELS WITH 2.8L (RPO LR2) ENGINE AND CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS (YF5)
General Motors has determined that some 1985 S/T model trucks with the 2.8L (RPO LR2) ex and California emissions (YF5) may exhibit an exhaust
leak. This condition may be caused by an inadequate seal(s) between the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe. New exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe seals
and bolts have been released to correct this condition. The new bolts can only be used on the right side, while the new seal can be used on both sides.
