2. Disconnect engine oil lines from adapter. Save 0-rings for possible re-use at re-assembly.
3. If vehicle is equipped with an engine oil cooler, disconnect oil cooler lines from adapter. Save O-rings for possible re-use at re-assembly.
4. Remove oil filter adapter from body with oil filter still attached.
5. Install new remote oil filter adapter assembly to body with new oil filter still installed to adapter as provided in kit.
6. Inspect both sets of O-rings for cuts and other imperfections, and replace O-rings as required.
7. If vehicle is equipped with an engine oil cooler, reconnect oil cooler lines using O-rings.
8. Reconnect engine oil lines using O-rings.
9. Drain engine oil from crankcase.
10. Fill crankcase with new engine oil (approximately 4-1/2 quarts).
11. Run engine and inspect connections for leaks.
12. Install "Campaign Identification Label."
