This bulletin updates the service manual procedure for the Park/Neutral Position Switch replacement procedure on Page 7A14D-5 in the 1995 S/T
Service Manual (GMT195-ST-1P).
PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH REPLACEMENT

Remove or Disconnect or Loosen
^ Apply parking brake.
^ Shift transmission to neutral position.
1. Negative battery cable. Refer to SECTION OA.
2. Nut securing transmission control lever to manual shaft.
3. Transmission control lever from manual shaft.
