Removal Procedure
Notice: Broken engine mountings can cause misalignment of certain drive-train components. Misalignment of drive-train components causes eventual
destruction of the drive-train components.
If one engine mount breaks, the rest of the engine mounts will have increased stress put on them. This could cause the rest of the engine mounts to
break.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the left side transmission support brace bolts and the support brace.
4. Remove the starter.
5. Remove the bolt holding the battery positive cable to the engine.
6. Remove the battery positive cable from the engine mount.
7. Lower the vehicle.
