S15/T15 Sonoma P/U 2WD L4-2.2L VIN 5 Flex Fuel (2001)
1. Remove the left side instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel,
2. Remove the center instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Center in Instrument Panel,
3. Disconnect the vacuum connector (3) from the defroster actuator (4).
4. Remove the actuator rod retaining clip (1).
5. Remove the actuator rod (2) from the defroster door lever (5).
6. Firmly pull on the defroster actuator in order to remove the actuator from the HVAC module.
