S15/T15 Sonoma P/U 2WD L4-2.2L VIN 5 Flex Fuel (2001)
1. Install the defroster actuator. Ensure that the retaining tab locks into place.
2. Install the actuator rod (2) to the defroster door lever (5).
3. Install the actuator rod retaining clip (1).
4. Connect the vacuum connector (3) to the defroster actuator (4).
5. Install the center instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Center in Instrument Panel,
6. Install the left s instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel,
Mode Actuator
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The mode actuator is located on the top left side of the HVAC module.
