Fuel Line Coupler: Service and Repair
Quick Connect Fitting(S) Service (Metal Collar)

J 37088-A Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set
There are two types of quick connects used on the fuel pipes. The metal collar type uses J 37088-A fuel line separator for removal. The plastic collar
type does not use any special tools for removal, refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar).
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Slide the dust cover from the quick-connect fitting.
CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Caution in Service Precautions.
3. Blow dint out of the fitting using compressed air.
