Tighten

Tighten the upper ball joint stud nut to 83 Nm (61 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the stud nut in order to align the slot in the stud nut with the hole in the stud.
5. Install a new cotter pin.
6. Install the grease fittings.
7. Lubricate the upper ball joint.
8. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
9. Install the wheel speed sensor electrical connector to the upper control arm.
10. Install the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Front (Single Piston) or Brake Caliper Replacement - Front (Dual Piston) in Disc
Brakes.
11. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Check the front wheel alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment.
