Air Compressor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the automatic level control compressor shield. Refer to Air Compressor Shield Replacement.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Deflate the system by removing the spring clip from the air line T-fitting base.
4. Remove the rear bumper extension. Refer to Step Pad Replacement - Hear Bumper (Pickup) or Step Pad Replacement - Rear Bumper (Utility) in
Bumpers.
Remove the air line from the automatic level control air dryer.
5. Disconnect the automatic level control compressor electrical connections.
6. Remove the automatic level control air compressor mounting nuts.
7. Remove the automatic level control air compressor from the vehicle.
