mis-positioned valve seals which caused the oil consumption condition. Replacement of the valve seals will correct the condition.
The proper way to determine if your engine may have the conditions to regularly monitor your engine oil level, preferably at each fuel fill during the first
few thousand miles. If oil consumption is one or more quarts per 2,000 miles, you may have mis-positioned valve seals. IF your vehicle does not exhibit
oil usage at low mileage, your engine most likely does not have this condition.
Replacement of valve seals can be made by your Chevrolet dealer. Please contact your dealer to arrange a convenient service appointment. Enclosed is
