S15/T15 Sonoma P/U 2WD V6-4.3L VIN X (1998)
5. Remove the upper caliper mounting bolt. Discard the bolt.
6. If you are removing the caliper for overhaul, remove the lower mounting bolt. Discard the bolt.
7. Remove the caliper housing from the anchor bracket.
8. If you did not disconnect the brake hose, hang the caliper housing from the suspension.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Inspect the mounting bolts and sleeves for corrosion.

Do not polish away any corrosion.

Replace corroded mounting bolts and sleeves.
2. Inspect the linings for wear. Replace the linings if the linings are tapered beyond 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).
