Removal Procedure

2. Peel the water deflector away from the door. Use a soft-surfaced scraper if needed. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement See: Doors/Rear

3. Remove the control rods from the remote lock.
1. Pry the anchor out of the hole.
2. Push the clip away from the lever.
3. Pull the rod and the clip away from the lever.
4. Remove the upper latch screws.
5. Remove the upper latch, if equipped.
6. Remove the upper latch and the rod from the door.
