22. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Balance shaft and both bearings are serviced only as a complete assembly.
b. Front bearing must not be removed from balance shaft.
c. Balance shaft drive and driven gears are serviced only as a set. Set includes balance shaft and driven gear bolt.
d. Tighten balance shaft retainer bolts to specifications.
e. Torque balance shaft driven bolts to 15 ft. lbs. plus additional turn of 35 degrees.
