Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Mode Door Actuators Replace
Left
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Floor air outlet (center) from the vehicle.
2. Vacuum connector.
3. Actuator by sliding off mounting bracket.
4. Actuator linkage from the mode door linkage.

Rotate the mode door linkage down.
^
Rotate the actuator so that its linkage slips off the post on the mode door linkage.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Actuator linkage to the mode door linkage.

Rotate the mode door linkage down. Rotate the actuator so that its linkage slips over the post on the mode door linkage.
2. Actuator by sliding onto mounting bracket.
^
Press firmly into place to fully seat fastener.
3. Vacuum connector.
4. Floor air outlet (center) to the vehicle.
Right
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Right knee bolster.
2. Right cowl side trim panel.
3. Vacuum lines.
^
Note color and location of the vacuum lines at the actuator.
4. Actuator by sliding off mounting bracket.
5. Actuator linkage from the mode door linkage.
^
Rotate the mode door linkage down.
^
Rotate the actuator so that its linkage slips off the post on the mode door linkage.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Actuator linkage to the mode door linkage.
^
Rotate the mode door linkage down.
^
Rotate the actuator so that its linkage slips over the post on the mode door linkage.
2. Actuator by sliding onto mounting bracket.
^
Press firmly into place to fully seat fastener.
3. Vacuum connector.
4. Right cowl side trim panel.
5. Right knee bolster.
