Data Link Connector: Description and Operation
A Scan Tool can be connected to the Data Link Connector (DLC). this allows the Scan Tool to communicate with either the Vehicle Control Module (
VCM) or the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). System operations can then be monitored for diagnostic purposes.
There is one Data Line access with a Scan Tool. Terminal PPL (1807) Data Line allows the Vehicle Control Module and the Brake Pressure Modulator
Valve to communicate with each other and/or a Scan Tool.
