1.
Raise and support vehicle.
2.
On 2WD models, hold shock upper stem from turning with a suitable wrench and remove nut, retainer and grommet.
3.
On AWD models, remove upper shock mounting bolt and nut.
4.
On all models, remove lower shock pivot bolts, then the shock absorber through the hole in the lower control arm, Fig. 14.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Tighten upper attaching nut and lower attaching bolts to specifications.
