Fluid Flow Switch Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
CAUTION: Before removing or installing any electrical unit or when a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with "live"
exposed electrical terminals, disconnect the negative battery cable to help prevent personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or
components. Unless instructed otherwise, the ignition switch must be in the "OFF" or "LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid flow alarm switch.
NOTICE: Do not force a thick blade wrench on the flow switch or damage will result. Use a thin blade open-end wrench.
3. Remove the hose clamps from the fluid flow alarm switch.
4. Remove the fluid flow alarm switch from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fluid flow alarm switch to the vehicle.
NOTICE:

Do not force a thick blade wrench on the flow switch or damage will result. Use a thin blade open-end wrench.

Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the hose clamps to the fluid flow alarm switch.

Tighten the clamps to the fluid flow alarm switch to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the electrical connector to the fluid flow alarm switch.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
