6. Remove the manual detent spring bolt and spring.
7. Remove the remaining control valve body bolts.
8. Remove the manual valve link.
9. Remove the control valve.
10. Remove the check balls (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 12) from the control valve.
11. Clean the control valve components.
12. Inspect the control valve.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: Tighten the control valve assembly bolts in a spiral pattern starting from the center. If the bolts are tightened in a random pattern, the valve
bores may become distorted, which can inhibit valve operation.
