Door Check Strap Seal Replacement - Side Rear
Removal Procedure
1. Use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 3M P/N 08987 or the equivalent in order to remove the side front door check strap seal form the door.
2. Clean the side rear door of all of the old adhesive.
Installation Procedure
1. If you are reusing the check strap seal, apply weatherstrip adhesive to the check strap seal. Use GM Weatherstrip Adhesive GM P/N 12345097
(Canadian P/N 10953479), or the equivalent.
2. Install the side rear door check strap seal to the door.
