2. Disconnect the lock rods (3) from the side rear door latch handle (4).
3. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the side rear door latch handle (4) to the side rear door.
4. Remove the side rear door latch handle (4) from the door.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the side rear door latch handle (4) to the door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the nuts (2) that retain the side rear door latch handle (4) to the side rear door.
Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
3. Connect the lock rods (3) to the side rear door latch handle (4).
4. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
2. Disconnect the side rear door lower latch lock rod (1) from the side rear door lower latch (2).
3. Remove the bolts (4) that retain the side rear door lower latch (2) to the door.
4. Remove the side rear door lower latch (2) from the door.
