Pressure Pump Relay: Description and Operation
LOW PRESSURE LOCK-OFF (LPL)
The electric low pressure lock-off solenoid provides fuel shut-off prior to the low pressure regulator. The normally closed solenoid has a high
temperature coil and is both UL and CGA approved. The LPL has a 1/4 in. diameter fuel orifice. The LPL is only commanded ON when engine cranking
or running is detected.
