1. Install the propeller shaft slip yoke into the transmission. Align the reference marks made during removal.
2. Install the propeller shaft to the rear axle pinion yoke or to the yoke flange. Align the reference marks made during removal.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Important: Discard the bolts to the yoke flange. Use new bolts.
3. Install the yoke retainers and the bolts (pinion yoke type) or the bolts (yoke flange type).

Tighten the yoke retainer bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) or the new yoke flange bolts to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.

Removal Procedure
Important: Do not rotate the center slip yokes to spline shafts, end yokes, companion flanges, etc. from their original position during reassembly.
