3. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the side rear door latch handle (4) to the side rear door.
4. Remove the side rear door latch handle (4) from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the side rear door latch handle (4) to the door.

2. NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the nuts (2) that retain the side rear door latch handle (4) to the side rear door.

Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

3. Connect the lock rods (3) to the side rear door latch handle (4).
4. Remove the side rear door trim panel.

Rear Side Door Latch Replacement (Cargo Door)

REAR SIDE DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT (CARGO DOOR)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Open the door.
2. Disconnect the power connector.

3. Remove the latch bolts (2).
4. Remove the latch (1).

5. Drill out the rivets (2).
6. Remove the latch bracket (1).
