8. Remove the oil filter adapter seal O-ring.
9. Discard the oil filter adapter seal O-ring.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the NEW oil filter adapter seal O-ring into the groove in the oil filter adapter.

2. Install the oil filter adapter and NEW oil filter adapter gasket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the oil filter adapter bolts.
