Underhood fuse Block Cover is Not Present

Determine if the underhood fuse block cover (3) is present or missing (2).

If the cover is missing, replace the underhood fuse block cover and any electrical components on the fuse block that need to be replaced.

If the cover is present, follow Step 4 to confirm that it is properly secured.
CAUTION:
In order to avoid being burned, do not determine if the underhood fuse block is properly secured while the engine is hot.

To determine if the underhood fuse block cover is properly secured, with either hand, grasp the front side of the cover with your thumb, and the
back side of the cover with your fingers. Try to lift the cover vertically. A properly installed cover should move only slightly. If one or more
locking features on the cover is broken, the cover may move partially, or completely separate from the fuse block.

If the cover is not properly secured, replace the underhood fuse block cover and any electrical components on the fuse block that need to be
replaced.

If the cover is properly secured, no further action is needed.
