Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Weatherstrip Replacement - Side Door Window
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the side door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the hinged body side window. Refer to Hinged Body Side Window Replacement (See: Quarter Window Glass/Service and
Repair/Hinged Body Side Window Replacement) in Stationary Windows.
3. Pull the side door window weatherstrip from the window opening pinch-weld flange.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the side door window weatherstrip to the window opening pinch-weld flange.
2. Press the side door window weatherstrip into place.
3. Install the body side window. Refer to Hinged Body Side Window Replacement (See: Quarter Window Glass/Service and Repair/Hinged Body
Side Window Replacement) in Stationary Windows.
4. Install the side door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front
Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
