13. Adjust the valve clearance to 0.3 mm (0.0112 in). Refer to Valve Clearance Adjustment Specifications (See: Specifications/Valve Clearance
Adjustment Specifications) to determine which valves can be adjusted when the engine is at TDC.
14. Tighten the lock nut.
Tighten nut to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
15. Install the upper valve rocker arm covers. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Upper Left Side (See: Valve Cover/Service and
Repair/Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Upper Left Side) and Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Upper Right Side (LMM) (See:
Valve Cover/Service and Repair/Valve Rocker Arm Cover Replacement - Upper Right Side (LMM)) .
16. Install the fan clutch. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement (See: Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Fan Clutch/Service and Repair) .
17. Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, 7.0L) ()Engine Coolant Fan
Upper Shroud Replacement (6.6L) () .
18. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
