11. Remove the engine front cover bolts.
12. Separate the engine front cover from the cylinder block using J 37228 .
13. Remove the engine front cover.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the relief valve O-ring to the engine front cover.
2. Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil.
3. Apply a 2-3 mm wide and 0.5-1.5 mm high bead of sealant to the mating surfaces of the engine front cover. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and
Lubricants (See: Specifications/Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants) for the correct part number.
