2. Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the power steering pump rear bracket mounting nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the power steering pump to the vehicle.
4. Install the front power steering pump mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

5. Install the rear power steering pump mounting bolt.

-

Tighten the bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

6. Uncap the power steering hoses.

7. Raise the vehicle.

8. Important:  Route the power steering hoses in the same location in which they were removed.

Install the power brake booster inlet hose (2) to the power steering pump through the wheel well.

Tighten the hose fitting to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).

9. Install the power steering gear outlet hose or cooler hose to the power steering pump through the wheel well.
