5. Remove the brake hose from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the rear brake hose to the vehicle.
2. Connect the rear brake pipes on the axle to the brake hose.

Tighten the rear brake pipes to the brake hose to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the retaining bolt of the rear brake hose to the rear axle.

Tighten the retaining bolt of the rear brake hose to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
IMPORTANT: Make sure the brake hose is not twisted. Make sure the brake hose is not in contact with any suspension components.
4. Install the retaining nut and retaining clip to the front brake hose.
5. Connect the rear brake pipe to the brake hose.
6. Bleed the brake hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual Bleeding) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure
Bleeding).
