7. Install the engine front cover.
8. Install the intake manifold.
9. Rotate the engine to align the crankshaft balancer marks (1) and (4) with the front cover marks (2) and (3) for cylinder number one top dead
center.
IMPORTANT: When the alignments marks on the camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket are aligned, the engine is at cylinder number four
top dead center.
10. Install the distributor.
11. Install the valve rocker arm covers.
12. Install the fan assembly.
13. Install the A/C condenser, if equipped.
14. Install the radiator.
15. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to he throttle body assembly.
16. Install the air cleaner assembly.
17. Install the engine cover.
18. Connect the battery negative cable.
