Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the front of the vehicle. Place floor stands under the front lift points.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Disconnect the tie rod from the steering knuckle.
NOTICE: Support the caliper with a piece of wire to prevent damage to the brake line.
4. Remove the front brake caliper.
5. Disconnect the nut and bolt that retains the wheel speed sensor harness bracket to the upper control arm.
6. Remove the hub/rotor.
7. Remove the three bolts that attach the splash shield to the steering knuckle.
