5. Remove the evaporator inlet hose nut (1) from the front evaporator tube hose.
6. Remove the evaporator inlet hose from the front hose.
7. Remove the nut from the rear evaporator (If Equipped).
8. Remove the front evaporator hose from the vehicle.
9. Remove the sealing washers.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the new sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Coupler HVAC/A/C Coupler
O-ring/Service and Repair/Sealing Washer Replacement).
2. Install the front evaporator tube into the vehicle.
3. Install the front evaporator tube to the rear evaporator tube.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. Install the rear evaporator tube retaining nut (1) (If Equipped) and tighten to16 Nm (12 lb ft).
5. Install the evaporator inlet hose to the front evaporator tube.
