Control and Shift Solenoids Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transmission oil pan and filter. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter Replacement (See: Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement).
Note: Do not remove the valve body for the following procedures. Removal of the 1-2 accumulator is necessary only if servicing the pressure
control solenoid.
2. Remove the 1-2 accumulator if necessary. Refer to Accumulator Assembly, Spacer Plate, and Gaskets (See: Accumulator/Service and
Repair/4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E - Automatic Transmission).
3. Disconnect all the internal wiring harness electrical connectors from the electrical components (1-6).
