Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the drain plug and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).
2. Fill the differential carrier assembly with axle lubricant. Use the proper fluid. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities (See: Maintenance/Service
Intervals) and Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations (See: Maintenance/Service Intervals).
3. Install the fill plug and tighten to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle.
