Savana 3500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 2 (2006)
1. Apply weatherstrip adhesive into the channel on the side door opening weatherstrip. Use GM P/N 12345097 (Canadian P/N 10953479) or the
equivalent.
Important: When installing the side door opening weatherstrip, ensure that the corners have not pulled away from the body.
2. Install the side door opening weatherstrip to the vehicle.
3. Align the channel on the side door opening weatherstrip to the door opening pinch-weld flange starting at the corners.
Press the weatherstrip into place.
4. Install the retainers at the ends of the side door opening weatherstrip to the holes in the door opening.
5. Install the hinge pillar upper garnish. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
6. Install the hinge pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower Pillar (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
7. Install the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front (See: Interior Moulding /
Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
8. Install the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) in Interior Trim.
9. Install the side door step well mat. Refer to Mat Replacement - Stepwell (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair) in Interior
Trim.
