Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the grille assembly.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler.
4. Remove the oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler.
5. Remove the 4 bolts securing the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator support.
6. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler.
Installation Procedure
1. Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the 4 bolts securing the oil cooler to the radiator support.
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
2. Install the oil cooler lines to the auxiliary oil cooler.
Tighten the cooler lines to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the drain pan.
4. Install the grille assembly.
