Lower Sliding Door Rail: Service and Repair

Rear Side Door Lower Track Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding side door check assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Replacement   (See: Rear Door/Rear Door Limiter/Service and

Repair).

2. Remove the sliding side door lower roller bracket. Refer to Rear Side Door Lower Roller Bracket Replacement   (See: Lower Sliding Door

Roller/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the sliding side door lower track (1) to the vehicle.
4. Remove the sliding side door lower track (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the sliding side door lower track (1) to the vehicle.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts (2) that retain the sliding side door lower track (1) to the vehicle and tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb in).
3. Install the sliding side door lower roller bracket. Refer to Rear Side Door Lower Roller Bracket Replacement   (See: Lower Sliding Door

Roller/Service and Repair).

4. Install the sliding side door check assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Replacement   (See: Rear Door/Rear Door Limiter/Service and Repair

).
