Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door

Panel/Service and Repair).

2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement   (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair).

3. Disconnect the front door lock cylinder rod from the front door lock.
4. Remove the front door lock cylinder retainer from the front door lock cylinder.
5. Remove the front door lock cylinder from the front door lock cylinder hole with the lock cylinder rod.
6. Remove the lock cylinder rod from the front door lock cylinder.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the lock cylinder rod to the front door lock cylinder.
2. Install the front door lock cylinder into the front door lock cylinder hole with the lock cylinder rod.
3. Install the front door lock cylinder retainer to the front door lock cylinder.
4. Connect the front door lock cylinder rod to the front door lock.
5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement   (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair).

6. Install the front door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door

Panel/Service and Repair).
