1. Position the hinge/recliner mechanism  (6) to the seat assembly.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts (2,8) to retain the hinge/recliner mechanism (6) to the seat back frame and tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb ft).
3. Install the bolts (3,7) to retain the hinge/recliner mechanism (6) to the seat cushion frame and tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb ft).
4. Connect the seat cable to the recliner.
5. Install the front seat back cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement   (See: Driver or Passenger Seat

6. Install the front seat cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement   (See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Front Seat

7. Install the seat back recliner handle if recliner mechanism was removed. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement   (See:

Service and Repair/Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement).

8. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement   (See: Service and Repair/Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement).

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement   (See: Service and Repair/Rear Bench Seat Replacement).
2. Remove the armrest from the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement   (See: Service and Repair/Rear Seat Armrest Replacement).
3. Remove the rear seat head restraints, if equipped.
4. Remove the center seat belt, if equipped. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Bench Seat)   (See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt
