8. Install the anchor nut and tighten to13 Nm (115 lb in).
9. Roll the carpet into place.
10. Install the park brake pedal. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement (See: Parking Brake Lever/Service and Repair/Parking
Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement).
11. Adjust the park brake system. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment (See: Adjustments).

Removal Procedure
1. Release the park brake.
2. Disable the park brake cable automatic adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling (See: Procedures/Parking Brake Cable
Adjuster Disabling).
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
4. For passenger and cargo vehicles, disconnect the intermediate cable from the front and rear park brake cables.
