Auxiliary Cabin Heater Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Heater Coolant Heater Fuel Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the fuel lines to the fuel pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service   (See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery

and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).

3. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.

4. Remove the fuel pump retaining bolt.
5. Remove the fuel pump from the vehicle.
