6. Remove the 2 fuel rail bolts and the fuel rail assembly.
7. If replacing the fuel rail, remove the fuel pressure sensor.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the fuel pressure sensor to the fuel rail.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Position the fuel rail assembly and install the 2 bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
3. Connect the right fuel rail feed pipe fitting to the fuel rail and tighten to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).
4. Connect the FRP sensor electrical connector (1).
5. Install the right fuel injector feed pipes. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Right Side (See: Fuel Supply Line/Service and
Repair).
6. Install the exhaust gas recirculation valve cooler assembly. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Cooler Replacement (See: Emission
Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Cooler/Service and Repair/Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Cooler Replacement).
